ASSIGNMENT 1: Blind Contour Drawing

Use blind contour drawing to draw your hand in four different poses.

Blind contour drawing is an unbroken line drawing of an object’s contours (surface). The drawing is done by keeping the mind and eyes of the object being drawn and not on the paper. Blind contour drawing is an exercise that trains the hand to do what the eye is seeing.

Make a contour drawing of your hand at rest. Draw lightly; go over contour with sharpie marker; erase all pencil.
