Kaleidoscope Design

ASSIGNMENT:

Create a symmetrical design     Use only the Draw tools  and the Formatting tools. DO NOT use the paint tools.

STEPS:

1.      Open Appleworks Draw document.
2.      Select the Rectangle tool
3.      Hold shift down while clicking and dragging to draw a square.
4.      Select the Oval tool
5.      Hold shift down while clicking and dragging to draw a circle.
6.      Select the Line tool
7.      Hold shift down while clicking and dragging to draw a diagonal line from each corner to corner. (X)
8.      Select the Line tool
9.     Hold shift down while clicking & dragging to draw horizontal line and vertical line through the center.(+)
10.     Continue adding colored shapes to each segment of the circle to create a symmetrical design.
11.     Save as  “symmetry, your last name”
