Lessons ASSIGNMENT:
Create a radial symmetrical kaleidoscope design. Paint it using a color scheme of your choice:

STEPS:
1. Make a square from a rectangle - fold 12"x18' white paper at the corner; cut off 6" end. OR measure 6" from the 18"side and cut off. You will have a 12"x12" square.
2. Make a circle from the square - fold the into a triangle three time. You will have a cone with a "point on the open end". Remain folded and measure 6" from the center. One side is already 6" so just measure the longer side. Cut off the end of the folded cone in an arc.You now have a circle.
3. In one pie section, do one of the following: draw a simple picture or print your name in block letter to fill the pie section space.
4. Repete the same design in other seven pie sections.5. Paint it using a color scheme of your choice.
